Q. What drew you to working in the fuel industry?
A. I was introduced to the fuel industry in 2001 when I worked at a gas station as my first job. Then I got interviewed for another job as a manager in a gas station in 2004, the owner had a Wholesale Fuel business and when he saw my resume, he was interested in hiring me for his office work. That job is what drew me to the fuel industry and sparked my new interest in this domain. I was so fascinated by the fuel business and all the moving parts that I wanted to learn everything I could about it.
Q. How has the industry evolved from before to now? If you could use three words to describe yourself, what would it be?
A. I would say the fuel industry has definitely grown since when I first started, but more importantly, there has been an increasing amount of Nepalese in the industry, which is inspiring to more Nepalese which helps the industry thrive.
Q. How has the Quick Track change from the beginning to now?
A. Quick Track started with one man and one store with big aspirations and soon one gas station turned into forty that is when I came in and helped start the Fuel Wholesale expansion of the business and soon with the resource coming in from gas stations and the fuel wholesale business we were able to expand to 50 more locations.
Q. What is Quick Track culture you have liked here?
A. One part of the Quick Track culture I personally like is how open communication to all the parts of the business is and how everyone is very supportive of others’ opinions.
Q. What is your experience in addition to Clarksville oil and gas?
A. It was very exciting to bring it to Quick Track Fuel. Now we have direct contact with Branded wholesalers like Exxon Valero and Conoco, which then allows us to supply more fuel to Nepali owned and other gas stations that are looking for a brand change or just an unbranded fuel.
Q. What kind of work are we doing to earn trust and transparency from a customer?
A. Our transparency comes from transparent books and billing to the customer. We try to remove the doubts of the customer by informing them of our process of fulfilling their order. We also provide help to our customers in whatever problem they have in their business.
